Epic Dolls
Before I start my lengthy diatribe about what I have done this weekend, I will offer you one link that will demonstrate part of what I have done.
You may start mocking me now, as I was fumbling my way through the English language and demonstrated my lack of knowledge about Arms and Fury in general. I think it’s time to respec some time to be a more versatile warrior. Nevertheless, I hope some of you will enjoy.
Thanks for having me, Leala and Rae, and everyone else should check out their website for more podcasts.
3.0 info galore
Now, I got you covered when it comes to reviewing 3.0 changes for protection warriors. But what if you happen to have alts or play other classes and look for similar info for other classes? Anna over at Too Many Annas has you covered with her Best of 3.0 Information Guide.
Shout-out time!
I managed to convince someone from my guild that blogging is awesome (and it is), so please welcome Yasura and her ‘heals, smites and prayers‘ blog to the fold! As the name suggests, she’s a priest, and really the pocket-healer priest that’s saved my butt the most. She’s most awesome, and I am looking forward to all her healer stories. Hopefully she won’t gripe about squishy tank too much.
While I am tossing out links, I would also like to mention new awesome tanking blogs on the scene:
- Yakra’s Mirror Shield
- Durnic’s ORLY Factor
- Talldar’s Warriortanking
- Albinobeard’s Defensive Stance
Protection warriors, the world is our oyster!
The Homogenization of Tanking
Hypatia over at Tankspot has written an incredibly interesting article on the future of tanking that approaches us with WotLK. If you are interested in tanking theorycraft, you should go have a look.
New warrior blogs
I’ll try to post links to new warrior blogs I see popping up, especially if they have a tanking angle.
Today I have two new ones:
- Jatheak’s WoW Blog - he’s starting with the premise of rolling a new warrior and guide the warrior to 70, which is always a commendable endeavor. We are prot warriors, we must be legion.
- Big and Beautiful - Arudar’s blog about warrior tanks. Started with a very interesting article about our ‘Oh Shit’ skills, so thumbs up from me.
A new resource for healers
A tank is nothing without a healer keeping them alive, so I try to keep myself educated about healing. My own healing experience is as holy paladin, where I healed all of Karazhan successfully, so I appreciate the difficulty and responsibility of the role. I am currently seriously considering going full resto on my druid. I have much love for healers, even if I can’t play them all that well!
As announced by Matticus and Azaura today, some of the big-name healing bloggers have joined forces to create PlusHeal.com. Priests, paladins, druids, shamans, Plusheal has ‘em all. Enjoy.
Map of WoW communities
Tim Howgego, the author of El’s Extreme Anglin Guide has created an interactive map of WoW communities. I think it’s really neat, so here’s a link. Very interesting article.
I must be a teeny rock in the sea of the Blogosphere, hee.
